1. Agreement
By creating an account or using Tuaneka, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use Tuaneka for a company, you confirm that you have authority to act for that company.
2. Accounts and businesses
You must provide accurate information, keep credentials secure and tell us promptly about unauthorized access. A Tuaneka account may manage multiple businesses, but each business keeps its own records, permissions and subscription.
3. Plans, trials and billing
Features and limits depend on the plan selected for each business. Paid subscriptions renew according to the billing cycle shown at checkout unless cancelled. Prices, taxes and renewal terms are displayed before payment. Domain registration and premium-domain costs may be separate where stated.
4. Stores, listings and seller responsibilities
Sellers are responsible for the accuracy, legality, quality, pricing, tax treatment, delivery and returns of their products and services. Tuaneka provides commerce tools but is not the seller of independent-vendor goods or services.
5. Payments and transactions
Connected providers such as Paystack and Stripe process payments under their own terms. You must not mark a payment, delivery or refund complete unless it occurred. Provider fees, chargebacks, disputes and settlement timing remain subject to the selected provider.
Tuaneka Payments for shop vendors
Eligible vendors may choose to accept shop payments through Tuaneka’s Paystack account without opening a separate Paystack account. Before enabling this option, the business owner must provide an eligible payout account, verify its details and explicitly accept the current Tuaneka Payments terms. Availability depends on the supported business country and transaction currency, payment-provider approval and any verification required by Paystack. Connecting an account does not guarantee immediate approval or settlement.
Collection fee and provider charges
For every successful transaction processed through Tuaneka Payments, Tuaneka charges the vendor 3% of the gross amount paid, including delivery charges and taxes included in that payment. Paystack’s processing charges are additional and are also borne by the vendor. These deductions reduce the vendor’s proceeds; they do not change the total price shown to the customer at checkout. For example, on a GHS 100 payment, Tuaneka’s fee is GHS 3 and the vendor’s proceeds are GHS 97 minus Paystack’s applicable charge. Tuaneka’s 3% collection fee does not apply to transactions processed through the vendor’s own connected payment-provider account.
Payouts and verification
Paystack automatically splits and settles the vendor’s net proceeds to the verified payout account under its applicable settlement schedule. This option does not create a withdrawable Tuaneka wallet or promise instant payouts. The vendor is responsible for the accuracy and ownership of the payout details. Verification, processing delays, reserves, disputes and other restrictions imposed by Paystack or applicable law may affect availability or settlement. Changing the payout account may require fresh verification.
Refunds, chargebacks and seller obligations
The vendor remains the seller of its products or services and is responsible for fulfilment, taxes, customer support, refunds and disputes. A customer refund does not reverse Tuaneka’s 3% collection fee or return already-incurred Paystack processing charges: both remain payable by the vendor, including when the customer receives a full refund. The vendor remains responsible for amounts needed to satisfy refunds, chargebacks and applicable dispute charges, including where proceeds have already settled. Payment and refund records must reflect confirmed provider results. These terms do not remove customer rights or any refund of charges required by applicable law.
These Tuaneka Payments terms apply to the payment arrangement the business owner accepts when enabling the service. Existing subscription prices and the terms of a vendor’s own connected provider remain separate.
6. Invoices, procurement and records
You are responsible for invoice, purchase-order, inventory, expense and tax information created in Tuaneka. Tuaneka does not replace professional legal, accounting or tax advice, and you remain responsible for required records and filings.
7. Connected applications and automated tools
You control which businesses and permissions connected applications receive. Review important actions before approving them. You are responsible for actions authorized through your account, including actions requested through Codex, Claude, imports or other integrations.
8. Acceptable use
You may not use Tuaneka for fraud, scams, prohibited goods, intellectual-property infringement, credential theft, harassment, unlawful content, manipulated reviews, interference with the service or attempts to access another user's data.
9. Content and intellectual property
You retain ownership of content you submit and grant Tuaneka the limited rights needed to host, process and display it as part of the service. Tuaneka software, branding and original platform content remain protected by intellectual-property law.
10. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or suspend access when needed for security, non-payment, abuse, legal compliance or a serious breach of these terms. You may close your account, subject to retention needed for transactions, disputes and legal obligations.
11. Availability and liability
We work to keep Tuaneka reliable, but features may occasionally be unavailable or change. To the extent allowed by law, Tuaneka is not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or losses caused by seller conduct, external providers or information entered by users.
