Connect a custom domain to your Tuaneka shop

Pro Plus domain eligibility, DNS records, verification and HTTPS setup.

Tuaneka Pro Plus lets a seller connect a domain they own to one Tuaneka shop. The GHS 250 monthly subscription pays for Tuaneka Pro Plus; buying and renewing the domain is a separate payment to an external registrar such as Namecheap, GoDaddy or Cloudflare Registrar.

Connect a domain

  1. Buy the domain from a registrar and keep access to its DNS settings.
  2. In Tuaneka, select the correct business and open Seller tools > Domains.
  3. Enter the domain without https:// or a path.
  4. Add the TXT ownership record Tuaneka supplies at the registrar.
  5. Add the supplied CNAME record for a subdomain such as www. If the root domain is being connected, add the A record Tuaneka supplies instead.
  6. Return to Tuaneka and select Verify DNS. DNS changes can take from a few minutes to 48 hours.
  7. Once ownership and routing are verified, Tuaneka provisions HTTPS. Do not remove the verification or routing records while the domain is active.

The original /shop/{slug} address remains available, including while DNS is propagating. If verification fails, check that the record name does not repeat the domain, remove conflicting CNAME/A records, wait for propagation and try again. Disconnecting a domain does not delete the shop or its products. Custom domains require an active paid Pro Plus plan and are not included in the seller trial.
